Services
Testing & Optimization
We are one of the few consulting and engineering firms which offers a wide range of tailored, global testing and optimization services, testing methods, and technologies while remaining independent from any solar panel or major equipment manufacturers (structures, inverters, batteries, etc.).
Our services ensure that the main components of renewable energy projects meet the required quality standards while supporting our clients across the different stages of a project’s life cycle, from the development through operational phases.
COMMITTED TO INNOVATION
In line with our commitment to innovation, we have implemented solutions, such as massive electroluminescence, daytime electroluminescence, I-V curve for bifacial modules at real sun, and enhanced albedo measurement campaigns.
We also developed the “Smart PV Inspection Tool” that combines the use of drones and artificial intelligence models. The Smart PV Inspection Tool provides an increase in the efficiency and precision of our diagnostics for installed PV modules, giving our technical experts more time and information to assess the health of this critical equipment.
AN ACCREDITED INTERNATIONAL PARTNER
We are at the forefront of industry development and offer our clients the best in-lab and on-site testing and inspection services and certified procedures.
In-Lab Testing

We have gained substantial technical knowledge thanks to our in-house PV testing laboratory, based in Spain, that is internationally accredited by the Spanish National Accreditation Body (ENAC), which is a full member of the International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC). It is one of the first private accredited PV laboratories in the world.
This ENAC accreditation with Nº 811/LE 1661 credits that the tests mentioned in PV Mobile Lab, In-Lab Testing and On-Site testing services are performed following the current international guidelines including the criteria defined by the standard UNE-EN ISO/IEC 17025:2017 (CGA-ENAC-LEC).
On-Site Testing

As industry pioneers, we developed our PV Mobile Lab to bring the most accurate measurement techniques on-site and minimize down-time at operating PV plants. This tool is specially designed to characterize the PV plants´ modules degradation. The PV Mobile Lab is currently available in Europe, Chile, Mexico, Brazil, and Australia, and it is equipped with the most advanced technology for bifacial and large solar PV modules testing.

El Romero Solar PV Plant
Country: Chile
Capacity: 247 MWp
Service(s): Quality Assurance and Quality Control; Testing & Optimization
Client(s): Acciona Energía Chile
Enertis Applus+ carried out quality inspections during the PV module manufacturing process, auditing the manufacturing lines; supervising the process, and verifying the traceability of the materials; carrying out tests in its independent laboratory and electroluminescence and visual inspections upon the delivery of the modules for batch validation. Enertis also supervised the assembly process and completed the work by performing thermography, visual inspections, and night-time electroluminescence tests on the installed PV modules. During the operation phase, Enertis Applus+ carried out module degradation measurements and solar pyranometers calibrations.

Puerto Libertad PV Plant
Country: Mexico
Capacity: 404 MWp
Service(s): Quality Control and Quality Assurance; Testing & Optimization
Client(s): Acciona Energía
Enertis Applus+ provided its modules’ quality control services across different stages of the Puerto Libertad PV project. The firm performed quality control inspections during the manufacturing of more than 1.200.000 PV modules and during the commissioning phase of the PV plant.
