Reden Solar and Natixis appoint Enertis as consultant for a 100 MW solar PV portfolio in Chile
- Enertis is carrying out the technical due diligence of various small-scale distributed generation photovoltaic (PV) installations (PMGD in Spanish).
- The works include the review of the engineering design, permits, contracts and an independent long-term energy yield estimation.
Enertis, a global engineering and consultancy firm and a leader in the renewable energy sector, specializing in solar PV technology, has been contracted by Reden Solar. Enertis is to act as independent technical advisor for Natixis in the financing process of various PV PMGD projects located in Chile, with a total capacity of more than 100 MW.
As part of the technical due diligence process, Enertis will review the engineering design, equipment, permits including environmental and grid connection authorizations and costs, and will perform an independent solar resource and energy yield assessment. Additionally, the EPC and O&M contracts will be reviewed to ensure they are adapted to the specific requirements of each site.
Consolidated presence in Chile
Since opening an office in Chile in 2013, the Enertis team has provided multiple services as independent technical advisor for projects totaling more than 10 GW in capacity, working for nearly 100 clients. These include developers, independent power producers, lenders and investors. Enertis has a track record of more than 150 PMGD projects that have a cumulated capacity in excess of 500 MW.
