Enertis advises White River Renewables on the purchase/sale of two Jinko Solar photovoltaic plants in Mexico
- Enertis has prepared the technical Due Diligence for the acquisition of both projects located in Jalisco and Yucatán, totaling 155 MWp.
- The plants have been acquired by White River Renewables, a joint venture set up by Riverstone and White Summit Capital
Enertis, a leading global consulting and engineering company in the renewable energy sector and specialising in solar photovoltaic technology, served as technical advisor to White River Renewables in the acquisition of the two solar photovoltaic plants in Mexico, sponsored by Jinko Solar.
Enertis prepared the technical Due Diligence for the acquisition of both plants, totaling 155 MWp. Las Viborillas, a 130 MWp PV plant, is located in Jalisco, while San Ignacio, a 25 MWp PV plant, is located in Yucatán.
The plants have been acquired by White River Renewables, a joint venture focused on renewable energy projects, set up by Riverstone, a private investment firm operating in the energy and power sector, and White Summit Capital (“WSC”), a Switzerland-based firm specialising in infrastructure investments, renewable energies, and asset management.
Both plants are currently fully operational and have achieved COD under their PPAs in September 2018, in the case of the Viborillas plant, and in May 2019, in the case of the San Ignacio plant.
