Enertis controls the quality of 59 MWp photovoltaic modules from Actis

• The project is comprised of more than 180,000 photovoltaic modules from Trina Solar. Malaysia.

Enertis has been chosen by Actis to ensure and control the quality of a 59 MWp photovoltaic modules supply. Actis is a leading investor in growth markets across Africa, Asia and Latin America.

The modules will be installed at the project Naranjal, in Uruguay and will be through manufacturing quality control in China.

During the inspection, to be conducted in January and February 2017 at factories in China and Malaysia, Enertis will carry out a comprehensive supervision of daily production as well as a series of batch acceptance tests throughout the whole manufacturing period. Thanks to the implementation of these quality control activities, the technical (and therefore financial) risk associated to possible failures in the materials and PV modules is lessened. In addition, more reliability is ensured during their life cycle (25 years).

With this contract, Enertis accumulates an increasing expertise in quality control services in Asia of around 2,000MWp.
