Enertis acts as Independent Engineer in the acquisition and financing of a 580 MW solar PV portfolio in Texas, North Carolina and South Carolina.

Enertis, a global consulting and engineering firm for renewable energy and storage projects, has supported Cubico Sustainable Investments in the acquisition and financing of a solar PV portfolio of five projects in Texas, North Carolina and South Carolina.

In its role as independent engineer Enertis has supported Cubico concerning the acquisition and financing of the portfolio from Cypress Creek Renewables. The portfolio, in final development stage, comprises five large scale solar projects, ranging from 100 MW to 160 MW. The works performed by Enertis’ team have included so far a full technical due diligence scope and will now continue throughout the construction and commissioning phases of the projects.

With three offices in the United States, namely in San Francisco, Raleigh and Jersey City, Enertis’ team in the US accumulates a track-record of over 26 GW of projects solely in North America.  “We are happy to have helped the Cubico team in this effort”, says Iñaki Herrero, Managing Director of Enertis North America.
