Enertis, a leading global consulting and engineering firm in the renewable energy sector and storage solutions, continues to grow and in 2021 it foresees a 30% increase in activity as Independent Engineer for photovoltaic projects in the Spanish market.

In 2020, a year marked by the pandemic, Enertis has worked as an Independent Engineer together with leading investors and debt financing entities in renewable energy projects in Spain and around the world, as well as with relevant national and international investment funds.

Enertis has an extensive and in-depth knowledge of solar photovoltaic technology and storage solutions and, since its creation, has participated in a total of 25 GW of photovoltaic projects in Spain providing engineering services, independent technical advisory and quality control services. In 2020, the company worked as transaction advisor for more than 150 solar PV projects in Spain for an approximate value of 4,500 million euros.

With an 18 million euros turnover in 2020, Enertis’ perspectives for 2021 are positive. For this year, the firm intends to continue assisting the main investors and debt financing institutions in the renewable energy sector as an Independent Engineer, in a phase marked by a continued and increased interest in renewable investment.

The success of the solar PV technology in the last Spanish renewable energy auction, together with the notable increase in PPAs (Power Purchase Agreements) with renewable energy registered in Spain, open the way for an important development for the sector in the coming years, with an increasing number of transactions and project financing.
