Enertis betting for growth: diversifying and entering to the wind power sector

•  Enertis launches a Wind Division, with Eugenio Chinchón as Head of Wind Power Business

• Will leverage in a multidisciplinary team with a cumulated experience of 3.2 GW in Wind technology

 Enertis is working in the expansion of their business, with the decision of diversifying their activity and entering the wind power market, after ten years of career path in photovoltaic sector.

With the maturity of their business project, their presence in more than 40 countries and the experience of a 10 year career path, Enertis has decided to start a business line and set a specialized team in the wind power technology as a strategy of an expansion plan to opens its international projection. The team has 3.2 GW of cumulated experience.

Enertis expects to perform particularly strong in this new business line in Latin America and expand from there to the rest of countries were Enertis is already providing services. Particularly, Argentina, Mexico and Chile are the first targets, but will look for opportunities in Central America, US, and Europe, where Enertis has a strong network of offices a strong base of clients and a large track record in renewable energy projects.

Enertis is working in the diversification with the incorporation of Eugenio Chinchón as Head of Wind Power Business who will lead the headquarters in Chile. He is an electric engineer with studies of MBA and has an amount of international experience in development, operation and consultancy of energetic generation projects (financial enclosure and commercial operation). He will lead Enertis services in the international wind power sector.

Eugenio Chinchón has an international experience in the analysis, implementation and direction of photovoltaic and wind power projects, working with private companies and governments. He has worked as a Country Manager in South America for DNV GL (Garrad Hassan) and as a Business Development Manager for ESBI, a public Enterprise in electricity sector in Ireland.
