Enertis as technical advisor in the development of the 50MW Solar PV Plant “Los Limonetes”, one of the first projects under construction of the ones awarded last year in Spain’s renewable energy auctions
Enertis, a global firm specialized in the provision of consulting, engineering and quality assurance services for renewable energy projects throughout their entire value chain, has advised Monegros Solar during the construction as well as in previous development stages of “Los Limonetes”, a 50 MW Solar PV Project in Alvarado, Badajoz, Extremadura.
Enertis has carried out engineering services ranging from the preliminary design of the project up to the detailed engineering for the construction of the plant, advising the promotor, part of an industrial group with more than 20 years of experience in the renewables energies sector in Spain, regarding the feasibility and management of the project. Enertis is currently conducting the construction oversight and will be on site until the issuance of the commercial operation certificate and subsequent commissioning of the plant. Additionally, Enertis has taken part in the quality control of the modules, both during the manufacturing process as well as regarding post-shipment tests carried out on site before the installation of the modules.
Solely in 2018, Enertis has provided engineering and consulting services in Spain for more than 3 GW helping companies develop their renewable energy projects. After some years of inactivity in the Iberian market, renewable energies are supported again by policies that aim to support the adoption of environmental friendly energy sources. Renewable energies will be a milestone for the new energy transition and climate change measures which aim to reduce 90% of the CO2 emissions for 2050 with, among others, industrialization policies and tax benefits.
