Enertis Applus+ Provides QAQC Services on US PV Projects Totaling 570MWdc in Capacity
- Enertis Applus+ will conduct supply management and quality control of photovoltaic modules for projects in the US with a total capacity of approximately 570MWdc.
- Projects are located in California and Rhode Island.
Leading global consulting and engineering firm in the renewable energy sector and storage solutions, Enertis Applus+, is providing quality assurance and quality control services for solar photovoltaic modules across the United States.
Acting as Technical Advisor and Factory Auditor, Enertis Applus+ is carrying out testing and production surveillance during the manufacturing of nearly 1.5 million PV modules supplied by two Tier-1 vendors. These activities are conducted in several production workshops in Vietnam and Thailand, in which Enertis Applus+ counts on a local team of inspectors.
To date, Enertis Applus+ has evaluated and inspected 3GWp+ of bifacial PV modules in more than 20 production workshops in Asia, involving state-of-the-art 182/210 mm cell-based device designs, for 30+ projects in the United States, Europe, Mexico, Latin America and Australia.

Enertis Applus+ is inspecting and verifying the quality of the PV equipment supplies for a 390MWdc solar project in Kings County, CA. The project is already under construction and is expected to be one of the largest PV+storage projects in the U.S. Once operational in late 2021, the annual production of clean energy will be enough to supply electricity to 87,957 homes.
San Bernardino County, CA
Enertis Applus+ is inspecting and verifying the quality of the PV equipment supplies for a 130MWdc solar and 50MW/200MWh storage project spanning 581 acres in Victorville, CA. The project’s annual production of clean energy will be enough to supply electricity to 29,319 homes once operational.
Washington County, RI
Enertis Applus+ is inspecting and verifying the quality of the PV equipment supplies for a 50MWdc project in North Kingstown, RI. Once operational, the annual production of clean energy will be enough to supply electricity to 11,276 homes.
