Enertis Applus+ Expands Its Track Record in Brazil with Quality Control Services for Casa dos Ventos

• Enertis Applus+ will provide key services such as factory audits and the supervision of solar module production for four PV projects with a total capacity of 941 MW.

Madrid, April 3, 2025 – Enertis Applus+, a global engineering consultancy firm with extended expertise in the renewable energy and storage sectors, has been selected by Casa dos Ventos, a leading company in renewable energy generation and a key player in Brazil’s energy transition, to provide quality assurance and quality control (QAQC) services at origin for a portfolio of four solar PV projects in Brazil.

The portfolio includes the Rio Brilhante (306 MW) and Seriemas (291 MW) solar PV plants, located in Mato Grosso do Sul, and the Babilônia Sul Solar (117 MW) and Babilônia Centro Solar (227 MW) solar PV plants in the state of Bahia.

As part of the services to be provided, Enertis Applus+ will validate the raw materials – the Bill of Materials (BOM) – for solar PV modules and conduct factory audits to assess the production process and quality management systems and ensure compliance with global standards.

In addition, Enertis Applus+ inspectors will oversee the manufacturing process by conducting comprehensive monitoring of each stage to identify potential defects at an early stage and ensure compliance with international standards and specific client requirements.

Moreover, Enertis Applus+ will be present at the acceptance testing of BOMs and production batches and will monitor container loading to verify the performance and safety of components prior to shipment and ensure conformity with the defined technical specifications.
