Enertis Applus+ partners with Colgener as owner’s engineer for Termotasajero Dos Solar plant in Colombia

Global consulting, engineering, and quality control firm, Enertis Applus+, with extended expertise in the renewable energy and storage sectors, has provided owner’s engineering services for the 5.2 MWp Termotasajero Dos Solar PV plant located in the municipality of San Cayetano, in the department of Norte de Santander, in Colombia.

The project, property of Termotasajero, a company of the Colgener Group, was commissioned on December 26th, 2022, and it will supply 8,000 MW/hours per year, providing clean energy to 4,000 households.

As part of the owner’s engineering services, Enertis Applus+ has supported the client during the pre-construction phase, reviewing the detailed engineering prepared by the construction company to ensure compliance with the required specifications, regulations, or technical codes.

In addition, Enertis Applus+ has supervised the construction phase with a team of on-site qualified experts supported by a multidisciplinary back-office team to ensure the correct execution of the project. Moreover, the firm provided support supervising the commissioning phase.
