Enertis advises Natixis on the €115 million financing for Solaria’s 261 MWp portfolio of solar PV plants

• Enertis acted as Lender’s Technical Advisor, completing the Technical Due Diligence for the financing process and reviewing the projects in accordance with the Equator Principles and the loan in accordance with the Green Loan Principles (GLP), and will continue to assist during the construction, commissioning and operation phases of the projects.

• The portfolio is composed of 7 solar PV plants with a total capacity of 261 MWp.

• The total amount of the portfolio’s Project Financing is 115 million euros.

• Solaria signed a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Statkraft.

Enertis, a leading global consulting and engineering firm in the renewable energy and storage sectors, has acted as Lender’s Technical Advisor to the Spanish branch of Natixis in the financing of a portfolio of 7 solar PV plants owned by Solaria, leading PV development and power generation company in southern Europe. Projects are located in Castilla y León, Extremadura and Castilla-La Mancha regions. The total amount of the portfolio’s Project Financing is 115 million euros.

Enertis has carried out the Technical Due Diligence for the financing process, including the revision of the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) and Operation & Maintenance (O&M) agreements. Enertis also revised the projects in accordance with the Equator Principles and the loan in accordance with the Green Loan Principles (GLP) and will continue to assist in the construction, commissioning, and operation phases of the projects.

The solar PV plants have an installed capacity of 261 MWp and they are expected to be built in 2021. The total estimated annual energy production of the projects reaches 480 gigawatt hours (GWh), that will avoid the emission of 115,000 tons of CO₂ equivalents per year and supply electricity to more than 146,000 homes annually.
