Avanzalia has trusted Enertis with an independent technical advisory for the refinanciation of 24 installations of 100kW each, integrated in the photovoltaic project ‘Dulcinea Solar’, in Spain.

Avanzalia and a mandated financial entity have turned to Enertis, a global firm of consultancy, engineering and quality assurance services for renewable energy projects, for independent technical advisory to carry out a technical due diligence for the refinancing of several installations belonging to a photovoltaic project, located in Osa de la Vega, Cuenca. With an output of 2.4 MW, the facilities, which are integrated within the ‘Dulcinea’ project, have been operative since August 2008.

The works carried out by Enertis have consisted in an analysis of the historical performance, a technical evaluation of the project and its main equipment, site visits, and an estimation of long-term net production, as well as a review of the Reference Installation. In addition to this, the work included the review of the technical contracts and environmental conditions, as well as an analysis of the technical-economic hypotheses of the base case of each installation. Moreover, Enertis has carried out a review of the environmental and social management provision of the project to verify the compliance of the Principles of Ecuador. Thanks to Enertis works, Avanzalia and the mandated financial institution have recently closed this financing agreement. The PV plant ‘Dulcinea Solar’, promoted and built by Avanzalia, is one of the largest projects carried out under the Royal Decree 661/2007.

During the technical advisory process, Enertis verified the quality of the constructed installations and the Operation and Maintenance works carried out by Avanzalia Solar, confirming the best technical and environmental standards.
